KYAE Employability Standards:
The KYAE Employability Standards are derived from listening to employers and
adult education instructors, and referencing national leaders in workplace preparation
including Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems
CASAS: Competencies and Equipped For the Future (EFF), among others:
Extensive research and vetting contributed to this concise and concrete list of skills.
The standards are written as stand-alone statements describing skills the employable
adult should possess in order to be successful in the workplace. Resources have been
provided by KET.

KET Education Consultants are available to do training on PBS Learning Media
and many other KET educational resources. Resources have been provided by KET.
Also, the training that is done at KET in the Media Lab could be most useful for many
teachers. Much of it is related to technology and production, but more information can
