 Wurtland Elementary Gives Back!
WES is working to put together a Community Thanksgiving meal for anyone who wants or needs it.  We will be preparing a full Thanksgiving meal on Wednesday, November 22nd and serving from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. in our gym.  Anyone is welcome that wants or needs the meal.  Our meal will include:  Turkey, Ham, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Beans, Corn, Stuffing, Rolls and an assortment of desserts.  
Please help us pass the word!
Spirit Week 
Bicycle Rodeo
Wurtland Elementary 3rd - 5th grade students learn about bicycle safety. 
The students practiced using hand signals, stopping at stop signs and learned how to cross railroad tracks safely on an obstacle course designed and set up by safety instructor Doug Beckhart. Special thanks to Norton Hospital of Louisville, KY
for bringing this program to our students!
