“Mr. Ailster has a true heart for students and their enjoyment of school”, says superintendent, Traysea Moresea. “He values staff, students and the community. His decisions always reflect what is best for kids. I am excited and honored to work with him in this new position”.
Mr. Ailster is a 1988 graduate of Greenup County High School, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Social Studies, Master’s Degree in Middle School Education, and Rank 1 in Administration. He has been part of the Greenup County School District for 27 years, as a teacher, athletic director, and assistant principal.
Mr. Ailster is excited to take on the challenge, “I am thankful to the council members, and am humbled to be chosen to lead MMS. I look forward to working with our entire community to help MMS students reach their full potential.”
Mr. Ailster lives in South Shore with his wife, Johnna. Their children, Peyton and Seth, are both GCHS graduates.
