Big Smiles is scheduled to be at Wurtland Middle School on May 21 to see Wurtland Elementary School and Wurtland Middle School students. If you would like to have your child examined by the dentist, please register using the listed links. Paper forms are also available.
Please contact Amy Shaffer (FRYSC Coordinator) or Tracey Marshall (school nurse) should you wish to have a form sent home with your middle school student.

Bryce Music recently completed his manager's project for Industrial Arts. He worked incredibly hard to make a display case for his Martin guitar, and we are impressed by the final results! Great work, Bryce!

Mrs. Baleigh Long notes that Evan is always one of the first to say “How are you doing?” and “Good morning!” He’s kind, polite, and always willing to help with a task when needed.

Mr. Scott Bowling shares that Gunner has recently been a superstar in science class! Gunner is leading the way as students learn about chemistry.

Mrs. Baleigh Long shares that Carmen is an incredibly gifted musician and has a style all her own. She’s creative, confident, and always stays true to herself!

CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION STUDETS OF THE WEEK
Mrs. Ciera Vanover shares that this group of students created a podcast entitled "Small Town Talk" for Digital Media and truly knocked it out of the park! She notes that the podcast is funny, engaging, and informative. She adds that it is a podcast to which she would happily subscribe.

Mrs. Baleigh Long shares that J.J. is a natural leader and always willing to help others. She jumps in when someone needs a hand, sets a great example, and is a great friend to everyone around her.

Mrs. Bobbi Brumfield shares that Noah is a very talented artist. He displayed several pieces in the art show at the high school this year. She adds that he worked hard this year to improve his drawing talents, as well as his grades in core classes.

Mrs. Mary Logsdon shares that Dakota has been a great student to have in class. He has made tremendous academic growth this school year on i-Ready and classwork. He has also be very helpful in including students in class that aren't always included, showing how kind-hearted he is.

Mrs. Mary Logsdon shares that Riley is always singing, dancing, and bringing an atmosphere of happiness to our classroom. She adds, "Not only that, he is the first to answer any questions and participate in classroom discussions. He is a joy to have in class!"

Mrs. Mary Logsdon shares that Joshua is a kind-hearted, caring young man who is always looking out for his peers. He is the first to support someone if he feels they need help. He has stated that he wants to be a policeman or resource officer when he grows up, so he can continue help other people.

Mr. Eric Boos shares that Jacob is a star history student, active athlete, and well thought-of amongst his peers. Jacob shows strong character and great potential in future pursuits.

Ms. Katie Williams notes that Braylon is so much fun! He is an entertainer to the core and keeps us laughing. Braylon is very musically talented and witty. Don't be surprised if you see Braylon on the big screen one day. Ms. Williams adds that they have a lot of fun and look forward to whatever excitement Braylon is going to bring to class each day!

Ms. Katie Williams shares that Danielle is such a nice human being. She is genuine and kind, making the elementary students feel comfortable and welcome during EdRising. Ms. Williams notes that she can trust Danielle to do any job well. She works hard in class and at archery. She notes that she will miss Danielle next year!
