Spring Picture Day is tomorrow Monday, March 25th! This will include class pictures. Check our Facebook page for more information. Thursday, March 28th is Career Day. Spring Break is April 1st-5th.
Thursday, March 21st will be Kona Ice Day. We will also kick off March Madness so wear your UK blue! Next Thursday, March 28th, is Career Day. Students can dress up in a career outfit of their choice.
PTO cookie dough fundraiser orders are due Monday, March 11th. We would also like to remind families that you must have a photo ID when checking your child out of school or when entering the building.

PTO will be hosting a Valentine Dance on Friday, Feb. 23rd from 6-8pm. Cost is $3. Snacks, glow items, & photos will be available for purchase. GES kindergarten through 5th grade students only. Students must be signed in & out at the main door. Sunday best attire optional. Friday will also be Kona Ice Day at school.

Greenup Co. GAP (Guardians As Parents) will meet on Thurs., Feb. 22nd from 11:30am-1:00pm at the Greenup Co. Extension Office. Topic will be loving our loved ones through addiction and other issues. Free lunch & door prizes. RSVP to Amy at 606-833-5483.

Some of you may have seen the social media post about the Greenup County Schools Rodeo Team for 6-12 graders in Greenup County. In actuality, 5th graders are also eligible to compete. On Thursday, Feb 1, at 5 pm at the GCHS Ag Shop, there will be an informational meeting for GC students and parents who are interested in learning more. 4th graders are welcome to attend in order to prepare for the upcoming fall rodeo season.

Join us for GES Fall Festival on Thurs., Nov. 16th from 5-8pm! $5 for kids, adults are free. There will be games & prizes, vendors, auction, and $1 for each special event (cake walk, pie in the face, & dance room). A turkey dinner will also be available for $8. Come join the fun! GES will be celebrating Veterans Day on Nov. 10th @ 1pm. Families of PreK, K, or new students can send picture(s) of vets in your family with their name, child's name & relationship, branch, time served, medals, etc. Info sent in the past is not needed.
