VETERANS DAY CEREMONY DETAILS This year, we have an incredibly special Veterans Day ceremony planned. The ceremony will be held at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast, and our entire school will be attending! The ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 9, and School Resource Officer Elliott Gollihue, a veteran himself, will be this year's guest speaker. WE. ARE. EXCITED. We will be taking lunch with us on this day, and, throughout the afternoon, we will be working to clean the graves of our American heroes in the cemetery. This will not only allow each of our students to participate in a heartfelt service project, but it will also allow them to recognize the true sacrifices associated with services to our country. Veterans, Parents, Guardians, and Community Members: We would like to invite each of you to join us. Members of our choir and orchestra will be performing. In addition, the high school's Marine Corps JROTC will present the colors. Parents and/or Guardians: Please make sure your son and/or daughter is dressed appropriately for this day. We are hoping the weather is fully cooperative.

MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK EdRising students have been hard at work making some Velcro busy books for our little friends at the elementary school. Cutting, laminating, cutting some more, binding, and adding Velcro can be tedious work. We are happy to help lighten the load for our neighbors!
