I SCREAM. YOU SCREAM. WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM! In Mrs. Logsdon's class, after discussing phase changes and how liquids turn to solids, students made homemade vanilla ice cream to see the process in action, and, as you might note, it was a huge success! Exciting!

HOSPITALITY and TOURISM Last week, in continuing the student-led cooking series, Miss Brooklyn Clifton showed Mrs. Shannon's class how to make cherry poke cake. The class was so excited, and the reviewers agreed that it was delicious! Way to go, Brooklyn!

APP LAB This week, students in the classes of Mrs. Miruka Williams were exploring App Lab and its available features. Through App Lab, students learned how to make their apps interactive. They also learned how to use images and sounds to make apps more appealing. Congratulations to Huner, Jerry, and Nathan! These young men finished all of the levels in one day (that normally take three days).

COLLEAGUE CREDIT Mr. Doran shares that Macohn has been working non-stop to distribute ChromeBooks, battle tech support issues, locate student login information, train new instructional aides, and prepare the PASS logs and templates for the new school year. She is a champion!

FCA Our first official FCA meeting will be held on Thursday at 7:30 a.m. in the classroom of Mrs. Miruka Williams! Today was a “go invite your friends for Thursday” organizational meeting. Students outgrew Ms. Young's classroom quickly today! 23 students are just the beginning!
