These young ladies can't wait to cheer their first basketball game this evening! Go, Wildcats!

Mrs. Brumfield shares that Michael works hard and gives 100 percent of his efforts on assignments in English class. He demonstrates responsibility and habits of a dedicated learner. We are so proud of you, Michael!

CRYPTIDS AND CREATURES AND BEARS, OH, MY!
Mr. Doran’s English classes have been designing and creating cryptids and mythical creatures and writing stories to enhance the lore around them. His classes are learning to develop ideas, include details, and to utilize context clues and inferences in their writing, as opposed to directly telling information to the readers. That's impressive! Great job, everyone!

CPR TRAINING
Students in Mrs. Dornon's Health Sciences class have been working hard to learn the fundamentals of CPR. These life-saving measures are valuable tools for every area of life. Thank you, Mrs. Dornon, for giving students this opportunity!

Students in Wildcat Designs have a new product available! A student designed these coasters with UK fans in mind. They come as sets of two or four. Let Mrs. Williams know if you are interested! Christmas is around the corner. Gifts, anyone?!

GIFTED AND TALENTED EDUCATION
All future students who transfer into our school will be receiving a set of supplies for their respective classes. Students in the gifted class of Mrs. Miruka Williams have been putting together these sets, including bookmarks of positivity.

READER OF THE WEEK
Mrs. Long shares that Layden is deserving of this recognition because she absolutely loves to read, and she always has a book in her hand. Any time she is finished with her work, she'll open a book and read during her spare time.
READERS ARE LEADERS @ WMS!

WILDCAT OF THE WEEK
Mrs. Shannon shares that Rylan recently selflessly shared food with her classmates to the extent that, in the end, she didn't have anything left for herself. This type of selflessness is exemplary of Wildcat of the Week status! We are so proud of you, Rylan!

COLLEAGUE CREDIT
Ms. Tonya Bullion shares that Taylor Walters goes out of her way to help the students of Wurtland Middle School. She does an amazing job, and she always goes out of her way to help anyone in need. Thank you, Taylor!

FESTIVAL OF TREES AND TRAINS
On Friday, we had the opportunity to take our entire school to the Festival of Trees and Trains that is traditionally hosted by the Paramount Arts Center. Should you notice a pink, Barbie-themed tree, our EdRising students worked hard on this year's entry. We were also able to treat our students to some time at Central Park. We are most appreciative of our friends at the Paramount Arts Center and Lloyd Church of the Nazarene who helped make our day THE BEST before break. Also, we owe a special note of thanks to Nancy Hieneman for helping us to organize the logistics of our day. We had so much fun before heading home for the holiday break. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Wildcats!
