Tyson Sammons named EKC Player of the Year!! This Musketeer in his junior year is known to be an exceptional young man on and off the field.
Coach Jones said, “He’s the hardest working kid… he’s a leader that looks out for everybody and the kids look up to him.”
Sammons said that “it doesn’t feel real” knowing that he has one year left to play as a Musketeer. Sammons went on to say, “There’s no better place to go to school than Greenup — there’s no place like it. School pride keeps growing, and the support from fellow students, our teachers, and community makes it special. I want school pride to keep growing, because I want the younger kids to have the same experience I’ve had.”
