MUSKETEER OF THE WEEK
Mrs. Haileigh Hayes shares that Maylynn is an outstanding student who consistently goes above and beyond both academically and personally. She demonstrates kindness, responsibility, and leadership in the classroom, always willing to assist her peers and support Mrs. Hayes as her teacher. Whether it’s helping with copies, organizing supplies, or lending a hand during activities, Maylynn puts others before herself. Most recently, during our corn husk doll activity, she took the initiative to sort and organize all the materials for her classmates, even sacrificing her own project time to ensure others were successful. Her generosity, selflessness, and positive attitude make her an excellent choice for Musketeer of the Week.
We are so proud of you, Maylynn!

CAN WE BUILD IT?
Yes, of course we can, but, first, we have to design it! Agriculture students have been hard at work, building models of greenhouses. They have spent the past few classes researching and learning about different styles of greenhouses. Now, they are bringing their research to life through the construction of models.
We can't wait to see the finished products!

ALL IN FOR AG EDUCATION WEEK: A WEEK FULL OF LEARNING
Students in Miss Carroll's class had a week full of agricultural learning adventures!
The class listened to a read-aloud about farm animals, and they created their own farm animals from cardboard. Students also learned about strawberries and pumpkins and how they are grown. They even had some special visitors!
It was a great week of learning for our students!

MUSKIE OF THE WEEK
Mrs. Sarah Williams shares that, recently, there was a kindergarten student who was upset because she had gotten new glasses and was afraid other students would make fun of her. Zya stepped in to comfort her in a moment of vulnerability, trying to get her to go with her to breakfast. She was so kind to this student!
We are so proud of this little Musketeer!

ALL IN FOR AG EDUCATION WEEK: A LITTLE BIT OF DRAMA ON THE FARM
During "All In For Ag Education Week," students in Mrs. Fraley's theatre classes participated in regional and agricultural theatre centers. For Reader's Theatre, they studied the script for "Leaving The Farm, " auditioned for their chosen characters, and made character puppets to perform farm animal puppet shows. They learned about life in the past throughout our region and discussed how set designers build models to represent future backdrops. They structured their own set designs, modeling log cabins out of popsicle sticks.

ALL IN FOR AG EDUCATION WEEK: SECOND-GRADE CENTERS
Students in the second-grade classes of Ms. Ashley and Mrs. Loos worked through multiple centers on Friday. They had special help from their middle school friends - students who stepped in to lead the centers. The centers focused on the following topics: addition and subtraction problems with eggs, classification of foods into fruits and vegetables, taste-testing of various unusual fruits and vegetables, and the making of butter in a jar.
These activities certainly look like they were filled with fun and smiles!
