Issue #2 of the Bulldog Beacon for 2025. Student reported news to the people of the Bulldog and Musketeer community.

February marks Black History Month, an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. Also known as African American History Month, the event grew from advocacy from historian Carter G. Woodson and other prominent African Americans. Since 1976, every U.S. president has officially designated the month of February as Black History Month.

YEAR 2!
In celebration of Valentine's Day and as an act of kindness Mrs. Fraley's Science classes will be collecting items to donate to the Ronald McDonald House in Huntington, WV.
Many are familiar with the Ronald McDonald House through time spent there by families or people close to them. It provides such a benefit to families when they have to access medical care for their children either at St. Mary's or Cabell Hospitals helping to relieve stress and financial burdens.
Anyone is welcome to donate! Please bring all donations to Mrs. Fraley by February 13!
