Mrs. Caudill's class created a “carbon snake” right in the classroom, and it definitely caught everyone’s attention. As the reaction took place, students observed gas being released, heat produced, and a solid “snake” growing right before their eyes.

Mrs. Caudill's students dove into a Chemical Change Lab and got to see science in action. They observed color changes, heat being produced, and even gas forming right in front of them.

Mrs. Caudill's 7th grade science class did a chemical reaction lab on forming a precipitate. They mixed an Epsom salt solution and a sodium carbonate solution and watched a chemical reaction happen.

We want to send a HUGE Thank You to our very own staff member Kacey Carver for creating the mural on our back wall. within MMS. THANK YOU! #BulldogPride

Mrs. Fraley’s science classes used chocolate chip cookies to complete an activity to model the effects of mining. They completed an analysis sheet to explain how habitats and landscapes were changed.

Thank you Hilltop Show Swine for coming out and showing off your pigs! Charlee McGinnis and her sister AngelRae Bates who was a former bulldog, did a wonderful job showing our students what all show pigs do.

We would like to thank Jezz Bonzo for coming out and talking with our students about bees! We are hoping to add more bees this year to the two hives we already have!

Mrs. Fraley’s 3rd term CTE Human Anatomy students completed their culminating activity today. Students completed fetal pig dissections and were required to correctly name ten parts of the anatomy. They did an excellent job!
